jīn tiān shì zhōnɡ ɡuó de qīnɡ mínɡ jié ，
今  天   是  中    国  的 清   明   节  ，
Today it's China's Tomb-sweeping Day,

rén men huì dài yì xiē chī de ， jiǔ ， zhǐ huā ，
人  们  会  带  一 些  吃  的 ， 酒  ， 纸  花  ，
People will bring some food,wine,paper flower,

hái yǒu zhǐ qián qù qīn rén de fén dì ，
还  有  纸  钱   去 亲  人  的 坟  地 ，
and some paper money to their ancestors' grave,

ɡěi sǐ qù de qīn rén shāo zhǐ qián ，
给  死 去 的 亲  人  烧   纸  钱   ，

wèi le qí qiú hǎo yùn ， ɡào wèi shén línɡ 。
为  了 祈 求  好  运  ， 告  慰  神   灵  。 
burn the paper money for good fortune and to appease the gods or wandering spirits.

hái yóu qǐnɡ tā men chī ròu ， hē jiǔ ，
还  有  请   他 们  吃  肉  ， 喝 酒  ，
They also invite their ancestors to eat meat and drink some wine,

bǎ zhǐ huā chā zài fén tóu 。
把 纸  花  插  在  坟  头  。
put the paper flowers on the grave mound
